The Ortho Assist™ library provides computerized training for your entire staff. Each CD contains a pre-test that is designed to be administrated to prospective employees. This pre-test will identify areas that you will want to concentrate on when training the new employee. Each software package is broken into chapters that contain a review quiz. When taking the review quiz, the user can choose to return to the appropriate area in the chapter to review the information that applies to the question. After the programs are completed, the user can take a test and submit the results to GAC for CE credits. The number of credits available for each program is included on the overview page for the individual software package.
Carolyn Friedman has worked for over 30 years in various capacities within the orthodontic profession. She is founder of Ortho Assist™, a training program for orthodontic assistants, and is the author of the Ortho Assist™ Library. She has recently introduced several new titles to her line of Ortho Assist™ software programs. Through her seminars and on-site sessions, she has successfully trained thousands of assistants.
