The Ortho Assist Clinical program provides training tailored to a clinical assistant’s needs. The goal of this program is to help staff develop a greater understanding of the treatment plan and objectives for a patient, by providing in-depth information on appliances and mechanics. A well-trained clinical assistant can free the orthodontist from many “Hands-on” tasks. This program includes a pre-test which can be a pre-employment screening tool to identify training needs.
Topics covered: Advanced Terms, Tooth Identification, Force Mechanics, Procedures, Ceph-Basic Points, Appliance Preparation, Instruments, Dental Problems, and Dental Specialists.
Each section ends with a quiz that is easily accessed from throughout the program. The final test is thorough, comprehensive and has printable results. Earn 12 AGD CEU credits.
